"Nachtfahrt" and "Gläserstreichen" stem from Wittenburg's collaboration „Daily Drones and Litanies“ together with German composer/performer/instrument-builder Stephan Froleyks (www.stephan-froleyks.de), where Wittenburg contributed the electronic part. For this album he chose the pieces that sounded the most electronic (Nachtfahrt) and the most musical (Gläserstreichen). For "Daily Drone Dream" he combined these daily drone sounds into one large piece, hence the title. Tracks 2, 3, 5 and 6 stem from Wittenburg's „Natural Forms“-cycle, where he used images of nature as generators for electronic music.
